- Make the icing by pouring tiny amounts of boiling water into the icing sugar until it’s the thickness you want. I like it to be quite thick not runny and it’s easier to spread and decorate. Decorate with sprinkles, sweets etc how ever you like. (Add the sprinkles after icing each bun so they stick).
